This past Sunday I taught the high school class in church. So I asked the students what identifies them as a Christian? One of them replied “going to church”. I of course laughed & asked if going to McDonalds makes them a happy meal. Suffice it to say, I’m not as funny as I think I am… 

I reminded them having Christ in our hearts & living a sinless life is what identifies us as Christians & that this is why… Psalms‬ ‭119:11 says “I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.” & John 1.1-2 says “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.”

So since Jesus is the word one can say that Psalms 119.11 reads as follows: “I have stored Jesus in my heart, that I might not sin against Him.”

Pretty awesome right? Store up the word, which is Jesus Christ, in your heart & find your identity in Him…
